Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit Assistance:
• Assist in conducting internal and statutory audits for clients across various industries.
• Support senior auditors in preparing audit plans, checklists, and financial statements.
• Perform detailed testing of transactions, balances, and controls.
• Draft audit reports and working papers based on findings.
• Verify the accuracy of financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Taxation (Direct & Indirect):
• Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns for individuals, companies, and firms.
• Support the preparation of GST returns, TDS returns, and other indirect tax-related documentation.
• Research and stay updated on the latest tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Prepare tax calculations and assist in tax planning for clients.
• Accounting and Bookkeeping:
• Assist in maintaining and reconciling clients' books of accounts (both manual and software-based).
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other financial statements.
• Assist in managing payroll and other accounting functions for clients.
• Support in ensuring adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS, or GAAP) as applicable.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients.
• Help in analyzing financial statements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Client Interaction:
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for audits, taxation, and accounting work.
• Attend meetings and discussions with clients and assist in resolving queries related to their accounts or taxation.
• Provide clients with relevant financial insights and updates on their compliance status.
• Compliance and Regulatory Work:
• Ensure clients comply with all regulatory requirements related to financial reporting, tax filing, and audit.
• Help clients in handling government audits or scrutiny.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to finance, taxation, and auditing.
• Research and Analysis:
• Research accounting and tax-related issues, regulations, and rulings.
• Analyze and prepare reports on financial performance, taxation benefits, and other areas as requested by clients or senior professionals.
• Preparation of Management Reports:
• Assist in preparing reports for management review, including financial performance analysis and variance analysis.
• Support the creation of financial projections, forecasts, and budgeting plans for clients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education:
• Enrollment in the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course (Intermediate or Final level).
• A basic understanding of accounting principles and finance is required.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (advanced skills preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge:
• Understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with direct and indirect tax laws, including Income Tax, GST, and TDS.
• Basic knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
• Knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.

Pay: ?10,189.70 - ?11,142.82 per month
