Assistant Manager - Tax & Finance - Renowned Water solutions - BangaloreJob Summary:
An internationally renowned water solutions company is seeking to hire a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 to 4 years of experience for the role of an Assistant Manager for their Tax and Finance department.About the Organization:

Its products are distributed worldwide, reaching more than 70 countries across all five continents through 30 national and international subsidiaries, operating facilities, investments, sales, and industrial partners.Location: BangaloreRoles and Responsibilities:Maintenance of records and finalization of accounts (IGAAP and IFRS):Responsible for maintaining book records in accordance with IGAAP.Statutory audit coordination and finalization of accounts as per IGAAP.Review of GL and cost centers during month-end and year-end closing.Review and prepare balance sheet (BS) and profit and loss (PL) account reconciliations, schedules, and notes to accounts.Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare reports in designated formats for group companies.COS deviations reporting, Inventory allowances working and reportingResponsible for confirmation of inter-company balances.Preparation, update and review accounting processes and process documents/SOPs.Tax related compliances:Review and submit monthly and annual Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.Prepare and submit tax audit reports, income tax returns, and TDS returns.Coordinate tax audits and transfer pricing (TP) audits and submit audit reports in timely manner.Review TP invoice workings as per the TP arrangement with the Group.Provide support to consultants in handling income tax, TP, and GST assessments.Other Accounting and Finance responsibilities:Perform high-level Financial Statement Analysis (BS & PL).Perform reconciliations (BRS, Sales/Revenue, Inventory, GL, BSR etc.).Participate in budget and estimate preparation and analysis.Rolling cash flow forecasting.Verify payments, including statutory payments.Cost controlling initiatives and process improvements.Prepare management reports.Provide support to Head of Finance & Legal as per business needs.General Staff Responsibilities:To work in harmony with the organisations\' vision and values.To work in a collaborative and entrepreneurial manner to support and drive income generation.To attend and undertake regular supervisions and annual performance appraisals.To promote the use of technology and be self-servicing.To work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and communicating effectively with all.To encourage and support innovation throughout the organization.To work in the most resource efficient and effective mannerTo act as an ambassador for the organisation.Any other duties as may be required by the Head of Finance & legal and other key stakeholders.Requirements:Chartered Accountant//SQCA/MBA qualification with 3 to 6 years of experienceHandled various company statutory/ tax audits during articleship.Handled Income tax and GST-related compliances.Experience in bookkeeping, reporting and financial analysis as per prevailing IGAAPDemonstrated ability to be an early adopter of advancements in the finance field.Excellent planning skills and effective implementation of plans.Unquenchable curiosity to learn and try new initiatives for mutual growth.Ability to actively listen and accept feedback objectively.Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to adapt.Good understanding about process flow in ERP system (SAP will be preferred)Effective in communication and presentation skills (English compulsory)Good knowledge of IGAAP and IFRS preferredExperience from product based industry is desirableWhat we offer:A Platform that would match your passion for growth and innovation.Opportunity to work in collaboration with a team of industry experts and learn from true Innovators and be a part of company\'s legacy in India, where your ideas and thoughts would make an impact.Lively work environment and "go getter" culture.Cross function learning and development where you would be constantly challenged and pushed to do your bestSalary: To be decided post-interview based on your experience, skills, and knowledge.
