The Global Markets business of BNP Paribas helps its corporate and institutional clients leverage capital markets across the globe for their financing, risk management and investment needs. We support a Repo booking system called Apex provided by FIS. User base of these application are global, and we regularly interact with the business from many BNPP entities. POSITION PURPOSE

C++ Developer in the APEX team who will be responsible for maintenance and enhancements of different projects related to Repos domain.
Responsibilities
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES

• The developer will be required to do new developments, extensive analysis, Maintenance, and bug fixes.
• When required will do re-factorization of existing code for performance improvements and optimization.
• The developer is required to show a steep learning curve to understand the application flows and independently work in the scrum.
• Provide requisite information in the Jira, Intra Wiki or Word document as per the prescribed format for the team.
• Would participate and contribute to the projects' design, estimation, release, and post release activities.
• Perform code reviews of the team and technically guide the juniors.
• Is expected to learn about the product and all parts of the system at code level.
• Is required to frequently interact (by email/ chat/ phone/ Video Conference) with business Analysts, other application and architecture teams, production support in multiple locations.
• The developer is expected to take on tasks independently and own them across all stages of the SDLC.
