Position Summary:

Senior engineer ( Buyer ) with experience in engineering sector who will be able to handle 30 to 40 suppliers with multiple of verity like small & medium fabricated parts.

Work You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

• Should have knowledge of drawing reading.
• Would be able to do zero base costing & negotiation with supplier.
• ERP / SAP / M S Office knowledge
• Knowledge of KANBAN/ROP
• Able to solve quality issues.
• Market scanning for alternate supplier development.

Team T&G having 7# team member who are committed to delivery material on time with right quality to assembly.

Teams is assigned to procure Raw material, Turn & ground parts, sheet metal parts, Screw & barrel, Heavy, medium & small fabrication parts.

• Responsible for On-time Delivery \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure the assigned materials is delivered to internal departments on or before the scheduled time.
• Part / Item Costing \xe2\x80\x93 Conduct proper cost analysis to land up the right cost required to purchase the assigned materials.
• Supplier Analysis \xe2\x80\x93

• Scan the market for availability of supplier and create alternate vendors wherever required.
• Analyze existing supplier\'s performance based on data / past experience related to Rejection rate, Rework Issues, Delivery Issues, Stock Levels, Supplier Capacity, etc.
• Cater and Monitor the demand based requirement and ensure appropriate inventory level of the assigned commodities & Incorporate process improvements to reduce inventory requirements
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives at the supplier end or in the internal process.
• Data preparation, MIS and data entry into ERP system
