Assist Head of Procurement/Procurement during internal Siemens Energy and external ISO audits. Assist for Supplier Quality Audits. New supplier Pre-qualification/vendor extension in SAP via MDG tool as per SE Qatar requirements, obtain required documents from supplier. Has experience handling commodities related to Electrical equipment, materials (cables, earthing materials, site consumables, electrical components etc) and site services (Installation, Surveys, Testing commissioning etc) related to substations projects Looking for candidate who has pro-active mindset, quic What You Bring We are looking for a buyer with experience of around 5-7 years in purchasing. Bachelor`s degree in engineering Has knowledge of Sending RFQ to potential suppliers for quotation keeping in view the updated approved supplier list Introducing new supplier where necessary. Thorough checking of complete and accurate information on PR at the time of receipt. Such as complete specification supported by sketch, brand size, make and drawings. Intervention/Coordination between supplier and project execution for technical clarification (in case of any ambiguity) Expertise in Techno-Commercial Negotiations with suppliers. Preparation of comparative statement. Preparation of Contract Agreement/Negotiation report as per controlled template. Purchase order creation/amendment request coordination with GBS India. Selection / Checking of correct ESN while creating purchase orders to ensure better ESN quality. Sending POs to suppliers and Order acknowledgements follow ups. Delivery follow-up support with supplier (if requested by Project for exceptional cases) Supplier prequalification, Strategic Evaluation, Risk Evaluation, Supplier Development in SAP Ariba tool. Doing complete procurement reporting in IPPT and PUMA. Handling PUMA measures with project team and arranging quality gates
