Posted Date :03 Apr 2024Function/Business Area :Procurement & ContractsLocation :Navi MumbaiJob Responsibilities :.Responsible for checking the technical requirements with the specifications offered by vendor, doing 1st round of negotiation with the vendor for a particular category of itemJob AccountabilitiesFloating enquiry for the assigned items (depending on the user requirement)Matching the correctness of the technical requirements given by User and the technical specifications given by vendor and raise any shortcomings to Sr. Buyer/Buying ManagerDoing the first round of negotiation with vendors and giving the details to buying managerfor finalizing the deal with the vendorOrdering of the finalized items and making the appropriate entries in SAP systemTimely response and resolution of Internal and External audit issues related to procurement and in some cases escalating it to Sr. Buyer/Buying ManagerEducation Requirement :B. Tech / B EExperience Requirement :# 2-6 years of experience with exposure to respective category sourcing and manufacturingDesirable# Experience in category-based purchasing# Experience of supply management in similar plant operations environmentSkills & Competencies :Skills Required (Knowledge & Skills)Analytical bend of mindGood written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of equipment and process/maintenance activitiesCommercial acumen.
