Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Smart Power division at Nashik, India. You will be mainly accountable for: xe2x80xa2 Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements. xe2x80xa2 Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions. xe2x80xa2 Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval. xe2x80xa2 Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value. • You are immersed in purchase function in switchgear industry
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience Purchase of Electrical and Mechanical Commodities (i.e Meters, ACB, CT, PT & SheetMetal, Copper Components)
• You have experience in Creating PR/PO, Monitoring Inventory, Vendor Management and Supplier Management
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP xe2x80x93 MM and Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Degree in Electrical engineering (should be full-time)
• You are at ease communicating in English
