FunctionProcurementPay BandE4 to M2RoleAs the Buyer - Indirect Procurement -IT you will be part of the Procurement function and will report to the DH-INDIRECT PROCUREMENT-ITThe purpose of your role will be sourcing, evaluating, and procuring software solutions and licenses to meet the technology needs of our organization. Your expertise in software procurement, vendor management, and knowledge of the IT industry will be crucial in ensuring the successful acquisition and implementation of software solutions.A purpose driven role for youYour key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:1.Conduct market research and analysis to identify software & cloud solutions that align with the organization\'s IT requirements and strategic objectives.2.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and business units, to understand software needs, gather requirements, and define procurement strategies.3.Source potential software vendors, manage the request for proposal (RFP) process, and evaluate vendor proposals based on factors such as functionality, pricing, support, and contractual terms.4.Negotiate favorable licensing agreements, pricing, and contract terms with software vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.5.Manage vendor relationships, including contract management, performance evaluations, and ongoing communication to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.6.Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to review and finalize software contracts, ensuring appropriate rights, obligations, and data protection measures are included.7.Stay informed about emerging software trends, new technologies, and industry best practices to provide recommendations for software procurement and IT strategy.A Day in the life1.Monitor and track software license agreements, renewal dates, and compliance with licensing terms and usage rights. Implement processes to optimize license utilization and reduce costs.2.Collaborate with IT teams to facilitate the implementation, deployment, and integration of software solutions within the organization\'s infrastructure.3.Maintain accurate records and documentation related to software purchases, licenses, and vendor interactions.Academic Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT procurement, software sourcing, cloud management and vendor management.

Technical Skills/KnowledgeStrong knowledge of software licensing models, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.Familiarity with a wide range of software solutions, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), Dealer management solution (DMS),productivity tools, and infrastructure software.Excellent negotiation skills to effectively interact with software vendors and internal stakeholders.Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to software contracts, licensing, and data protection.Professional certifications related to IT procurement or software licensing (e.g., Certified Software Asset Manager - CSAM) are a plus.Behavioural SkillsExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with software vendors and internal stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate software options, assess vendor proposals, and make informed decisions.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Self MotivatedTeam PlayerWhat will it be like to work for HeroAs the world\'s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the last 22 years, Hero is where you will get to work with the brightest innovators, passionate about being the best in what they do.
