In this position you will have steering transformation and development of supply chain through the implementation of supply chain processes & tools, sustainable practices, and support transfer pricing activities along with area logistics coordination. Your responsibilities will be : Networking with global internal order processing stakeholders, business units and project managers at the destination country. Understanding about handling internal sales order, internal purchase order, logistics delivery terms, (scope, insurance, negotiation etc.). Encourage and promote process development which enables sales and purchase organization collaborate seamlessly, which also support the companys goals towards maintaining compliances and cost competitiveness at the same time. Support to supply planning process with input on shipping lead times, costs, and limitations; to enable a development of a total cost-efficient and in-time delivery supply plan. Maintain and update LN system for required and essential fields to have accurate and clean data base. Maintain and update other project related topics like cost reporting, delivery schedule, changes in customer requirement, communication to the related stakeholders within the E2E process (includes quotation, sales, internal PO, logistics etc.). Maintain Database in excel/access database and send monthly updates to Asia Pacific / Global stakeholders. Knowledge upgradation for changes in local taxations, foreign trade policies, EXIM, and Customs regulation. To be able to liaise with the government officials, CHAs on statutory requirements. Research and qualify items within LN system to ensure that proper validation is done. Adhering to Valmets HSE, Values, Sustainability and Code of Conduct To succeed this role, you will need: A graduate mechanical engineer with minimum one year of experience in relevant field Global supply chain operations experience on purchasing transactions, exports and imports, item data management etc. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as an understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management. Cross-cultural working experience is a plus. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Good communication and presentation skills, Hands on experience of MS Office Willing to travel.
