In this position, buyer should engage in day today purchasing activities of electrical item, mechanical assemblies and components like forging, casting, machined components , fabrication parts. It is necessary required to act as a team player, having close collaboration between the cross functional teams for successfully executing the job. Improving the supplier delivery punctuality with respect to the global requirement would be the key mantra for a success candidate.Your key responsibilities:

• PR- PO conversion on time bound manner.
• Vendor delivery punctuality
• Material costing.
• Direct & indirect purchases and Sub-contracting.
• Import purchasing.
• Vendor quality
• Cost saving.
• Suppleir master, Purchase Info record upation in SAP Origo
• Vendor payment management.
• New Vendor Development
• There should be a continuous engagment with supplier thorugh supplier visit approx. 30-40
• Hard negotiator
• Sense of urgency / crisis management .
• Professiency in Microsoft Office
• Hands on experinace in SAP - MM module.
• Procurement from Domestic and Overseas suppliers.
