Position Overview: As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and strengthening our presence in the Mumbai and Delhi markets. Leveraging your expertise in the hospitality or travel and tourism industry, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong partnerships, and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitors. Analyze market data to develop strategies that will give us a competitive edge.
• Business Expansion: Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our market presence in Mumbai and Delhi. Identify and target potential clients, partners, and collaborations to drive business growth.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
• Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including networking events, industry associations, referrals, and online platforms. Convert leads into long-term partnerships and revenue streams.
• Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, collaborations, and alliances that can enhance our offerings and increase market penetration.
• Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the needs and expectations of potential clients. Clearly articulate our value proposition and benefits.
• Sales and Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable deals while ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability.
• Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline, and progress against targets. Analyze sales data to refine strategies and tactics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (X+ years) in business development, sales, or account management in the hospitality, travel, or tourism industry.
• Strong network and connections within the Mumbai and Delhi hospitality/travel industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
