Introduction to the team We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst for our Business Valuations group. The Business Valuation Senior Analyst is responsible for conducting financial statement and valuation analysis, preparing industry and economic outlooks, valuation report writing, and conducting specific valuation research projects. Responsibilities: Determine the purpose, standard, premise, level of value, approaches and methods used in a valuation engagement Complete business valuation modeling and write ups Participate in site visits and management interviews Identify and propose modifications and opportunities for efficiencies in the business valuation process Adhere to project practices and achieve desired outcomes Reviewing third party valuations for reasonableness and preparing review memos. Qualifications: Should be a certified Chartered Accountant (ACA) OR Bachelors/Masters Degree in Accounting or Business or Economics Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations are preferred At least 2 years of experience with a recognized organization(s) performing valuations of closely-held companies, equity/debt, intellectual property, and other intangibles, etc. Previous experience of financial statement analysis is required. Understanding of USGAAP is preferred Should have experience of conducting market research for one or more industries. Preferably understanding of US market. Outstanding client service skills - excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills Able to handle multiple priorities, tasks and simultaneous projects Proficient with Microsoft Office. Preferred knowledge of using analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Monte Carlo simulation software, and CapitalIQ. Ability to travel as needed
