You will be responsible for analysing, documenting and proposing solutions for large and complex payment projects across a global client portfolio. The Senior Business Analyst will be hands-on in performing business level process analysis using the accepted tools and methodologies as well as preparing functional specifications. You will also work alongside the development teams to provide iterative analysis of the detailed specifications and to provide a link between the business and the development teams. Your responsibilities will consist of the following:What you will do:Lead or be part of the analysis phase of a project, typically with one or more BAs aligned to support its deliveryAwareness of the overall project plan to then allocate and prioritise analysis work of other BAs to ensure timelines are metBuild and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersCollecting, understanding, and communicating the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test analysis that can be utilized by the solution development teamsCollaborate with technical and solution architects to define solutionsAnalyse and document business processesDocument the results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specificationsProvide the link between the client, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycleDesign, specify and execute test scenarios and test scriptsAnalysis, preparation and management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are metCommunicate with the clients subject matter experts and system users to identify business needs and opportunitiesAnalyse and solve problems with integrated technology system software; determines and communicates need for technical analysisDevelop and provide structured training classes for system users and ad hoc one on one training and user assistance as requiredFacilitate scoping and business priority-setting for client payments change initiatives of medium size and complexityResponsible for managing the overall requirements catalogue for a projectWork with the Project Manager to allocate and prioritise analysis work to BAs within project teamsSupport and develop BAs working within your project teamPerforms other related duties as assigned or requestedWhat you will need to have:Have 4+ years of experience in cash management/payments industry.Very good Communication skills in client interfacingExperience of leading and/or mentoring small teams within an overall project structureDemonstrated evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes and system flowsDemonstrated experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems within the payments environmentDemonstrates flexibility and adaptability to work at all levels across projectsWorking knowledge of the payment industryWorking knowledge of SWIFT, ISO20022, low-value and high-value such as SEPA, Target 2, CHIPS, Fedwire, ACH, Instant Payments etc (preferably in-depth knowledge of implementing solutions that process these types of payments)End to end experience of the project lifecycleProven experience interacting directly with end users and clientsFluent in English, with very strong analytical and numerical skillsHave excellent computer skills including MS Office (Visio would be beneficial)Be able to work successfully as part of a growing teamDiligent and committed to excellenceHave excellent attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks and sound organisation of workAmbitious, driven and capable to deliver results while working under tight deadlinesExcellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, with the ability to tailor messages to a diverse audienceWhat would be great to have: (Optional - subjective preferred qualifications if applicable.)Undergraduate/Masters Degree preferred but not requiredEither working at a Bank or software vendor providing payments services to banksTo have worked on Complex Payments Products and worked with clients directly.Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
