The Business Systems Analyst has a good knowledge of a wide variety of business concepts, practices, and procedures as they relate to IT and general operations; they rely on their expertise, experience, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and to perform a variety of tasks. The Business System Analyst conducts needs analysis, writes user stories, collaborates with others for system design; and supports squads to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in IFRS 17 Insurance and Accounting standards.

• Experience in working with Insurance company or related financial institution and understand its business processes.

• Knowledgeable in SDLC and Agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates the identification of business and IT process improvements, system design, testing and implementation of solutions.

• Collaborate on business case development, current state, and future state documentation.

• Works collaboratively with Squad members to address high-priority backlog items.

• Works with the team to conduct analysis on business requests with a focus on the links between processes and systems throughout the organization.

• Analyzes and documents how systems, processes, procedures, and clients will be impacted by future development.

• Works with the team to facilitate requirements interviews and workshops.

• Analyzes and defines user requirements and translate them into system requirements/user stories.

• Creates and/or provides input into internal and external communications and user documentation.

• Reviews and provides feedback to business and technical documentation.

• Works with business on the roll out of what has been developed. and analysis on client impacts.

• Supports testing with a focus on end-to-end validation.

• Understanding of IT systems for process streamlining and service improvements

• Identifies areas for improvement/enhancement on existing and new systems.

• Develop an understanding of the supported applications to interpret business needs and translate into application and operational requirements.

Qualifications:

• Graduate (B.E. / B.Tech.) from a renowned University

• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in IT and/or Finance

• Experience in insurance, finance and/or banking applications is preferred.
