Core Duties
• To ensure that where possible all work is completed within SLA
• Assist in the resolution of major problems/incidents in a timely fashion.
• Analysis and resolution of problems and issues reported by customers.
• Provide direct Support for all Paymaster operations portfolios.
• Liaise with Pensions IT/Developers for third line support & provide appropriate support information.
• Liaise with Third party software providers for resolution of system problems.
• Fully understand how all aspects of the work integrate with all systems.
• Ensure documentation is up to date
• Contribute to completion of daily tasks and BAU work items
Skills and Knowledge
• ITIL foundation level advantage
• Good Interpersonal skills.
• Experience in delivering support services and projects.
Experience of working within measurable SLA• 's.
• Pragmatic approach to problem solving, finding practical ways to delivering fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Microsoft office suite competence
• Microsoft SQL Management Studio query writing skills advantageous
• Oracle query writing skills advantageous
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task, prioritising where necessary
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility to working hours essential
