Location: Chennai The position sits within the Operations technology team that is responsible for the engineering, infrastructure management and implementation aspects of various automation solutions in TTS group within Citi. The successful candidate will be utilizing a range of BRMS Technology such as RedHat Decision Manager, PAM, DROOLS, and support enterprise class business critical applications. Job background/ context: Business Rules Developer is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Key Responsibilities: As a Lead, you are responsible for managing a small team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a complex module within a project (Delivery/Maintenance/Testing). Supports initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Testing specialists who work with technology project managers, UAT professionals and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach. Conducts a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments reports issues and makes recommendations for solutions. Ensures project standards and procedures exist, are fully clearly documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle makes recommendations for enhanced documentation. Monitors products for conformance to standards monitors processes for conformance to procedures. Documents findings and performs preliminary root causes analyses to provide recommended improvements. Ensures all corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed. Verifies traceability in project work products. Gathers, maintains, and creates reports on quality metrics. Exhibits good understanding of procedures and concepts within own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas. Requires basic understanding of how own area integrates within IT Quality to achieve objectives. Makes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents. Directly impacts the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others impacts own team and closely related work teams. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Person Specification Knowledge/Experience: 9-12 years BRMS experience in the Financial Service industry preferred. simultaneously work on multiple deliverables Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Skills: Expertise in JBPM/PAM process flow design, end to end workflow implementation (user task, service task, event handling etc.) and handling process flow versions. Expertise in various patterns of BPM process flow, reusable sub process, embedded sub process Data model design and handling. LDAP handling with process flow, user and user groups. Expertise in design and development of exception process flow for business exception and technical exception. Business activity monitoring, understanding and configuring dashboard and getting bottleneck. Performance monitoring and tuning Kie server parameter to improve system throughput. Logging framework. Debugging, process instance\'s view, audit view. Expertise/knowledge in implementing Decision Manager/PAM API. Expertise/knowledge in building rule using Drools Rules Engine. Expertise in Kie server, Kie Execution server, Managing containers and architecture of JBPM/PAM and various components. Process deployment model and cloud server. Process migration to new version and migration of existing cases to new process model version. Qualifications: A Bachelor of Engineering / Computer Science, Information systems, Information Technology or related disciplines Competencies: Strong knowledge on SDLC / Agile Methodology Strong technical background Owner operator mind-set, with demonstrable ability to be seen as a strong technology partner / Technology design SME Willingness to learn complex applications and unique data. Willing to roll up the sleeve for development as per the needs. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels. Time management skills and the ability to simultaneously work on multiple deliverables Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
