Provide support to underpin effective knowledge sharing across Global Safety, including developing communications and reports, supporting appropriate document retention, maintaining accurate contact lists
Support effective and accessible communication within and outside the department through the use of creative and innovative media and messaging to develop engaging materials to share information provided by subject matter experts
Foster continuous improvement by conducting quality checks, compiling and analysing metrics, and proactively seeking opportunities for process improvement \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain an awareness and be an early adopter of new technology to select or recommend the most appropriate application for a given purpose
Proactively identify, develop and implement technical solutions to improve department functioning and efficiency
Provide technical support for department processes and maintain documentation/repositories as needed
Act as backup for lead roles where requested \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide training and mentoring for technical associates for selected activities
Job-Related Experience
5-7 years of experience providing technical/communications support for a high volume medically oriented or clinical R&D department in a large corporation.
Key SkillsFamiliarity with Tech tools including data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI), website maintenance, social media, document management systems, video editing, animation
Creative thinking to develop engaging communications and propose new approaches for continuous improvement
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability and willingness to proactively communicate with stakeholders to understand needs and be responsive to requests
Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to interact well at all levels of the organization
Ability to effectively handle and appropriately escalate issues in a timely manner based on risk
Awareness of PV processes and ability to develop, document, communicate and oversee processes
Awareness of process improvement techniques and ability to analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
Preferred knowledge of other related disciplines e.g. business operations, communications, information management
Proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work independently in a flexible manner and accommodate change
Familiarity with medical/scientific concepts and terminology desirable
Working knowledge of R&D organization preferred
