The Business Operations Lead will play a critical role in the strategic and operational planning of our organization. This position will work closely with executive leadership and department heads to ensure alignment between organizational goals and operational resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, workforce management, and strategic project execution. What you get to do in this role: Key Responsibilities: Annual Operating Planning : Collaborate with executive and departmental leaders to identify budget requirements for the upcoming fiscal year. Evaluate and prioritize corporate, departmental, and team initiatives to align with financial resources and strategic objectives. Facilitate the trade-off discussions to ensure optimal allocation of resources. Department Budget Management : Monitor departmental budgets to ensure spending stays within acceptable variance. Work closely with leaders on purchase orders, accruals, and forecasting to maintain budget compliance. Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize departmental spending. Workforce Planning : Oversee headcount tracking, including movement, hiring, and placement of talent and interns. Collaborate with HR and department leaders to ensure optimal workforce alignment with strategic goals. Chief of Staff Activities : Lead strategic projects to ensure successful execution and alignment with organizational objectives. Act as a liaison between executive leadership and other departments to facilitate communication and project coordination. Manager Productivity : Develop and implement strategies to enhance manager productivity and effectiveness. Provide tools, resources, and training to support managers in their roles. Strategic Event Planning : Coordinate organization-wide events such as all-hands meetings, manager forums, and strategic planning sessions. Ensure successful execution and follow-up on strategic events to foster engagement and alignment. Culture, Learning, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) : Promote a positive organizational culture that supports continuous learning and inclusivity. Work on initiatives that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Finance, or related field MBA preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business operations, financial planning, or related roles. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively across various departments and leadership levels. Proficient in budgeting and financial analysis tools.
