Job Description

This position will be responsible for researching and analyzing company data to support statistical analysis by the business and creating the dashboards, and database, and that will allow efficient collection and evaluation of business intelligence data. The BI Engineer will work closely with the Information and Telecommunication Section, and the Programme Support Management Unit to gain an understanding of the business intelligence goals and objectives to ensure the systems and their capabilities support competitive research efforts that achieve those goals.The key responsibilities include:
Assess the end-to-end process and identify opportunities for enhancement; develop dashboards and report insights.
Understand the business objectives, define performance metrics, and drive data-driven strategies to achieve them.
Evaluate design and components, system, and database design solutions.
Work with Senior Software Engineer, Interface Designer and Quality Assurance Specialist to create business intelligence visualizations.Work Experience:
Minimum of 10 years working experience with SQL server with a BI platforms/solution
Experience in data warehouse
Technical Proficiency: advanced expertise in Power BI, including experience with DAX programming, data modelling, and data visualization. An understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and integration processes is also critical.
Relevant Experience: showcase a robust portfolio of similar projects, particularly in creating Power BI reports and dashboards . This indicates their ability to handle specific data needs and complexities.Educational qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other information technology-related field with course work in systems analysis and programming, or operating systems.Skills and Languages:
Proficiency in written and spoken English
