DESCRIPTION Amazon is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, Customer Experience Strategy based in Bangalore, India. Our team inspects, measures, and drives improvements to Amazon\'s customer experience, partnering with senior leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and demonstrate advanced problem solving, analysis, modeling, and reporting skills. You will be passionate about analyzing large data sets, leveraging multiple sources, and exploring new analytical tools to answer complex business questions. You will also be able to independently plan scope of a project, understand the problem statement, construct the analysis, identify data sources and execute the study end to end. The successful candidate would be working with business and technical stakeholders. Key job responsibilities Independently lead the data analytics workstream within the charter Build new analytical tools, interfacing with business and technical stakeholders Develop models and metrics providing insights on customer experience and performance Interface with other teams to extract, transform and load data Drive process efficiency and automation Drive adoption of analytical tools across business stakeholders Drive meaningful insights triangulating across multiple data sources and share actionable findings with stakeholders We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Bengaluru, KA, IND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in the data/BI space - Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred) - Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling - Bachelor\'s degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field - 5+ years of professional experience in a business intelligence/statistical analyst role PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master\'s degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field - Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts - 5+ years of relevant experience in a business intelligence/statistical analysis role
