Location: Chennai, TN, India or Bengaluru, KA, India (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable business intelligence solutions, using BI tools and databases.
• Spearhead the extraction, analysis, and interpretation of business data to develop valuable insights and strategies.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of clear and compelling data visualizations and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business needs and requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
• Maintain data security and integrity, following the company\'s data governance policies.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the system is functioning as expected and data is accurate.
• Mentor and provide guidance to the BI team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to ensure BI solutions are in line with best practices.

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field. A Master\'s degree will be considered a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence or related field with at least 5 years in the life sciences field.
• Proficiency in BI technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Oracle BI).
• Strong knowledge of database structures, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights.
• Proven experience managing and leading a team.

• Pharmaceutical Industry certifications in BI tools or data analytics.
• Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning tools.
• Proven record of implementing BI solutions that have driven business success.
• Experience with clinical trial systems, data and information.
• Experience with Cloud, local and SaaS data sources.
