Overview:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will serve as a key member of the Operations Data Team, within the Center of Excellence (CoE). This role will lead the gathering and analysis of information related to the management and performance of the Operations teams. The successful candidate will have as his/her core responsibility the data analysis, benchmarking, and process improvement for the Operations organization and its continuous drive to improve efficiency.
The successful candidate will have a proven capability to gather relevant data from multiple, disparate sources and bring it together in a meaningful way that allows leaders to effectively monitor and manage their business. The incumbent will have the required experience to turn data into information, form hypotheses and prove/disprove these hypotheses through in-depth analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Triage data requests and gather user requirements to effectively fulfill business needs.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create performance tracking mechanisms to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes, data quality, and reporting efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence, data analytics, and visualization techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
• Proven experience (2-4 years) in a business intelligence, data analysis, or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, or ETL processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS• Four-year degree, ideally with a concentration in Business Analytics, Decision Modeling, or Statistical Analysis, or commensurate professional experience.
