DESCRIPTIONAmazon Business Biz Operations team is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer (BEI) to play a significant role in building large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data integration and delivery services. These data solutions will be used in periodic reporting, and drive business decision making while dealing efficiently with the massive scale of data available through our Data Warehouse as well as our software systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions using third-party and in-house reporting tools, modelling metadata, building reports and dashboards, and administering the platform software. You are expected to build efficient, flexible, extensible, and scalable data models, ETL designs and data integration services. You are required to support and manage growth of these data solutions.You must be a self-starter and be able to learn on the go. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required as you will work very closely with diverse teams.Key job responsibilities
As an Business Intel Engineer, you will analyze data, design and build predictive and decision models and design metrics to measure the performance of the business. You will interact with the business groups that rely on the metrics as well as the decisions produced using predictive models. You will interact with software engineers to incorporate and improve predictive and decision models into optimization algorithms and control systems.=A day in the life
Amazon Business Biz Operations (ABBO) is part of Self-Service Registration (SSR) within Business Prime, SSR, Marketing, and Expansion (PSME). We verify legitimacy of potential AB customers, identify customers violating AB T&C and support AB/SSR on work type that require human intervention. We support all nine marketplaces of AB 24\xc3\x977 from India, Japan and Costa Rica.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Hyderabad, TS, INDBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modelingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
