Location: Bangalore, KA, INResponsibilities:Strategic planning:
  • Responsible for driving development, implementation, and adherence of all financial and accounting policies & procedures for the upcoming projects/businesses in compliance with the applicable financial and accounting standards
  • Help assist the BU Head by recommending business actions based on financial planning and analysis, along with performance and efficiency improvement measures
  • Support decision making by providing timely inputs on strategic matters relating to legal, compliance and taxation areas affecting the organization and the market in which it operates
Monitoring Business performance:
  • Help define key financial and operational metrics and track the financial health of existing Business Units
  • Proactive in reviewing financial information, identifying exceptions/inconsistencies, initiate action and follow-up for logical closure
  • Develop a data-driven decision framework to execute key business strategy decisions and develop a metric-driven performance management system across the company
Business Planning/Budgeting and cost control:
  • Develop a clear understanding of key business drivers, analyze key financial metrics, provide value add analysis for upcoming business objectives and create weekly/monthly/quarterly financial projections for the same. You would be responsible for ensuring that these are adhered to by all business teams.
  • Responsible for providing regular reports and inputs for designing the strategy, risk and mitigation plans, going forward strategy, etc., pertaining to financial aspects of various business plans (across businesses)
Stakeholder management:
  • Manage stakeholders across all BUs and functions, to align on budget projections, expectations and key deliverables, and work in close coordination with the Business Finance Head in the preparation of the Monthly & Quarterly Business Reports with detailed commentary and also prepare Annual Operating Plans

  • CA, B.Tech. or MBA Finance with 2-6 years of finance experience preferably in a FMCG/Retail Commerce (experience in Startups will be a plus)
  • Expertise in financial planning and analysis, cost transformation and cost reduction
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere. Should have worked very closely with Business
  • Experience with stakeholder management in complicated settings and with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making mentality
  • Strong business acumen to understand the business requirements
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment
  • Must be Proactive and self-motivated. Should be keen on solving problems and drives initiatives to closure
  • Hustle and get things done attitude
