The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving the company's growth by acquiring new clients through multiple online platforms, including Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and direct networking. The role requires an individual who is skilled at identifying opportunities, creating proposals, and managing relationships to convert leads into long-term business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities through various freelance platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer.com, and other online marketplaces
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Crunch base, and industry-specific networks
- Create and manage engaging proposals tailored to client needs on Upwork and similar platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop client-specific pitches, presentations, and pricing strategies
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Conduct market research to identify new industries and markets for expansion
- Manage client communication and project requirements from initiation to closure
- Utilize CRM tools like HubSpot and Salesforce to track leads, manage follow-ups, and report on business development activities
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth
- Work closely with the marketing team to align strategies and leverage digital marketing efforts for lead generation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience (2+ years) in business development, sales, or client acquisition roles
- Experience working on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer.com, or similar marketplaces is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of lead generation techniques, especially through LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, and other CRM tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to create compelling proposals and presentations that resonate with clients
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM
