Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales for the Americas and UK region to lead business development and sales for our healthcare optimization and strategy consulting firm. This role is pivotal in driving new revenue targets, acquiring new clients, and managing key relationships to secure profitable business opportunities. The Director of Sales will play a crucial role in shaping our client engagement strategies and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive Business Development: Lead initiatives across the Americas and UK, focusing on acquiring new clients and managing the entire sales cycle and onboarding process.
• Client Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, particularly at the C-suite and VP levels, to explore and secure high-value business opportunities.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to and execute annual business sales plans with an emphasis on consultant strategy, proactive-target marketing, and client engagement initiatives.
• Sales Pipeline Management: Generate new sales leads through various sources, ensuring a healthy pipeline that supports consistent revenue growth. Engage with your current portfolio to identify upsell opportunities.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research on relevant industries and sectors to identify business potential and market trends.
• Proposal Development: Prepare proposals and accurate estimations of effort to meet client needs and drive sales.
• Collaboration: Interact with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored product solutions.
• Sales Execution: Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets and expand the customer base while managing and forecasting business revenue.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
• 10-18 years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 10 years in a target-oriented environment.
• Proven experience in selling healthcare consulting services or enterprise solutions, particularly in healthcare settings.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and manage large enterprise deals.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and metrics to inform decisions and strategies.
• Proficiency in using CRM platforms and other sales tools to manage the sales pipeline effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
