Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist with a strong background in the video editing profession. The ideal candidate will have an extensive client database and a proven track record of generating significant revenue and multiple leads from day one. This role requires a self-starter who can independently manage the entire sales process, from initiation to close, without any assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize an extensive existing client database to generate new leads and convert them into clients.
• Use strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments with managers.
• Independently handle all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
• Own and hit/exceed annual sales growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated with industry trends.
• Collaborate with our team to refine lead generation strategies.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of minimum 5 years in marketing and sales within the video editing industry.
• Extensive client database with a history of generating significant revenue.
• Strong understanding of video editing services and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, and active listening), negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Be self-motivated, data driven and result oriented.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a must and a Master's degree is preferred.
• Interest in multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
• Knowledge in content writing is a plus.
