Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand EMS sales within the defense and aerospace sectors.- Identify and engage with key decision-makers in ODMs and major defense/aerospace organizations.- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and offering tailored EMS solutions.- Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to contract negotiations and closing deals.- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, supply chain, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to EMS and defense/aerospace sectors.- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance market presence.- Prepare and present compelling business proposals, sales pitches, and financial models to potential clients.Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.- Proven experience in business development or sales within the EMS industry, specifically working with ODMs.- Strong knowledge of defense and aerospace sector requirements, compliance standards, and procurement processes.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.- Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex client relationships.- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.Preferred Experience:- Experience working with Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers in the defense/aerospace ecosystem.- Familiarity with government contracts, ITAR compliance, and industry certifications (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.).- Existing network of contacts within defense and aerospace procurement teams.
