Description :Business Development Representative (BDR)Position Overview: As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be at the forefront of the companys sales and growth efforts. Your primary responsibility is to generate new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential clients. You will serve as the initial point of contact for prospects, working to understand their needs and demonstrate how our products and services can address their challenges.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting: Research and identify potential clients within target markets through various methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking.
  • Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives. Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure they align with the companys ideal customer profile.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects using CRM tools, ensuring accurate data entry and regular follow-ups to move leads through the sales funnel.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies for specific markets and campaigns. Provide feedback on lead quality and effectiveness of outreach methods.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings, demos, and presentations with qualified leads, aiming for a high client conversion rate.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, maintaining a positive and professional image of the company.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position the companys offerings.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, qualified opportunities, appointment setting and leads conversion.
Essential Duties:
  • Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities to generate and qualify leads to align with RVP and BDM targeted accounts.
  • Rapidly engage with prospects / clients to identify their requirements and potential business opportunities.
  • Create list of potential buyers using tools provided to sales qualify leads and
  • Manage Incoming leads and close or align according to the value of the overall
  • Using consultative selling, articulate an executive vision of how ULG solutions can benefit potential customers.
  • Demonstrates commercial acumen and understanding of clients business needs, identifying where ULG suite of services can offer value.
  • Continuously keep abreast of industry, market and competitor developments in order to grow and develop the business.
  • Develop and maintain extensive product and industry knowledge.
  • Achieve and exceed minimum agreed quotas.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales, customer service, or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Apollo, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with sales techniques such as cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
