Job Description


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the education or edtech sector, with a passion for helping institutions and individuals find the best learning solutions. You will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with clients, and achieving revenue targets. * Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within the education sector.

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions. Identify their needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our educational products and services, including course offerings, learning platforms, and training programs.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research. Build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Consultative Selling: Provide expert advice and consultation to clients regarding the most suitable education solutions. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Sales Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring alignment with the company\'s pricing strategy and terms of service.
  • Customer Support: Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure client satisfaction post-sale. Address any issues or concerns to maintain a high level of client retention.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on sales performance, including key metrics such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and revenue. Provide insights to optimize sales processes.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to effectively position our products and services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with company goals and enhance customer experience.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
