  • Set up a Project Management Office to monitor and track all key identified projects within the affiliate. Work closely with Dir; Dev Markets, to communicate project progress, KPI\'s and troubleshoot any issues which may arise.
  • Create a Project charter and monitoring chart. Work with the project leads of the critical projects to facilitate, communicate, set up meetings and ensure that Projects are progressing as per timelines.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to projects of high importance
  • Work with Project leads to ensure that all key projects are progressing to completion as per timelines. Determine pricing and positioning based on strategic goals of the products in the target segment, roll out products base on availability and regulatory time lines
  • Create & lead ad-hoc strategic projects to support local top line and bottom-line growth including holding budget responsibility for these.
  • Support the implementation of processes, tools, metrics, initiatives, infrastructure, and technology that will support and improve operations in the affiliate
40%New Product Planning & Introduction
  • Fully understand clinical profile, medical positioning and utility of global early development products and assess need for pharmaco-economic profiling to meet local requirements.
  • Provide early assessments of new pipeline products and identify opportunities.
  • Develop in-depth new product planning strategies to ensure launch excellence by working with cross-functional colleagues. Identify and evaluate new products market opportunities & revenue potential for India based on in-depth understanding of the strategic market segments and therapeutic unmet needs.
  • Be responsible for the evaluation of new product pipeline opportunities and build solid business case/s based on comprehensive considerations of market, product evaluation, registration, clinical development, and market access strategy. Present India commercial opportunities to India Affiliate Leadership Team to support decision-making.
  • Establish close working relationship with internal cross-functional teams which will include teams from Global/Regional/India Affiliate to get endorsement and ensure the alignment of India, Regional & Global teams to address India-specific commercial needs for new products.
  • Work with the finance team and regional commercial team to develop accurate LPR forecast for pipeline products based on insightful market assumptions and the latest government policy.
  • Deep dive into strategic TAs and develop India early brand plan for strategic products based on profound market knowledge and valuable business insights through in-field visits, related analysis across internal and external data, business environment.
  • Drive cross function cooperation in pre-launch strategy planning and external stakeholders\' early engagement to accelerate new product introduction into India market & maximize product therapeutic value to deliver best patient outcomes.
  • Lead the implementation of Launch Excellence initiatives for identified markets and conduct Launch Readiness reviews for priority programs.
40%Business Development
  • Aligning with global BD strategy, provide coherent and sophisticated BD case evaluations and forecast from local perspective to support decision-making at global level.
  • Collaborate with global BD team and Regional commercial team for other necessary processes and requirements.
  • Coordinate Affiliate approach for new product launch excellence, fully aligned with regional & local teams. This includes supporting business and distributors in their management of current brands/ indications, launch preparation and assessment of launch readiness for late-stage products/indications.
  • Work closely with internal/external partners to uncover and share industry insights, dynamics, and trends etc. and to develop appropriate strategies/ programs to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Maintain the institutional memory of the organization by creating a shared knowledge portal and repository of partnership collaborations and best practices.
  • For external collaborations and partnerships, implement and monitor commercial and marketing governance processes to ensure consistent messaging and adherence to brand standards.
  • Actively contribute to support Affiliate\'s brand planning process for agreed markets to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
  • Be accountable for the financial planning (Finance plans, updates, and long-range plans) for key trade channels
20%QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Postgraduate in Medical or pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Business Studies.
  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience in the healthcare industry preferable in multinational Pharma companies.
  • Experience in compliance programs.
  • Experience in managing budgets, demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills.
