Job Summary:
As a Business Development Associate in the fast-growing field of pickleball sports, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong partnerships within the sports industry. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for sports, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's presence in the pickleball sports market.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential partnerships.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sports clubs, fitness centers, schools, and other relevant organizations.
Actively engage with potential clients, conduct product presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new partnerships.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Meet and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation, prospecting, and closing of deals.
Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling sales strategies and promotional campaigns to drive revenue growth.
Strategic Planning:
Work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategic plans for business development in the pickleball sports sector.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to contribute to the overall business strategy.
Event Coordination:
Support the planning and execution of pickleball events, tournaments, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and attract new clients.
Communication and Reporting:
Prepare and deliver regular reports on business development activities, including progress towards goals and key performance indicators.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding in all communications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the sports industry.
Strong understanding of the pickleball sports market and trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
