Job Summary: The Sourcing Manager will oversee the recruitment and placement of candidates for the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). This role involves strategic candidate sourcing, client management, enrolment in the NAPS/NATS portal, and ensuring compliance with government regulations to support apprenticeship training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Candidate Sourcing:
• Identify, evaluate, and recruit candidates for NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme)/NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) programs.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract high-quality candidates in bulk.
• Utilize various sourcing methods including job fairs, online platforms, and partnerships with educational institutions.
• Client Management:
• Understand client requirements and ensure candidates meet these needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on recruitment progress.
• Compliance and Regulation:
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with government regulations and the specific requirements of NAPS/NATS.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate placements in accordance with audit requirements.
• Enrolment and Stipend Processing:
• Enroll candidates in the NAPS/NATS portal according to guidelines.
• Proceed with stipend processing as per NAPS/NATS guidelines.
• Cost Management:
• Manage recruitment budgets and track spending to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Implement cost-effective sourcing strategies without compromising candidate quality.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with internal teams including training and development, finance, and legal departments.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities, client satisfaction, and recruitment metrics.
• Quality Assurance in terms of Sourcing:
• Ensure that all sourced candidates meet the required standards and specifications.
• Address any candidate quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
• Project Management:
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth execution of apprenticeship programs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment of NAPS/NATS, talent acquisition, or a related field.
• Experience with apprenticeship programs or government schemes is highly desirable.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
• This position typically works in an office setting but may require occasional travel to client sites and recruitment events.
• Candidate with experience in Skilling /Education industry is preferable.
