Objectives of the Role:

• Develop, manage, and execute the e-commerce strategy to enhance client acquisition and expand B2C and B2B businesses across India.
• Understand e-commerce customers' shipping requirements to provide optimal express and value-added services.
• Stay ahead of market trends and collaborate with regional and local teams to plan and execute profitable growth strategies.
• Lead the growth and development of the e-commerce brand through strategic planning and execution.
• Oversee all aspects of e-commerce operations, including sales, marketing, design, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Marketing Management: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales. Ensure all marketing activities align with business objectives.
• Design and Strategy Development: Collaborate with design and development teams to create compelling online experiences. Formulate and implement strategies to optimize website performance and customer experience.
• Team Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, manage team members, assign tasks, and ensure productivity. Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
• Pipeline Creation and Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities. Monitor progress and make data-driven decisions to achieve sales targets.
• Market Understanding: Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to develop effective strategies and adapt to market changes.
• Strategy Implementation: Design and implement new strategies to drive e-commerce growth. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure success and adjust strategies as needed.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in e-commerce operations and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, design, and IT, to ensure cohesive execution of e-commerce initiatives.

Immediate Key Deliverables:

• Add Groz products to new e-commerce marketplaces.
• Identify new business potential and develop new products for the market.
• Manage product commercial closure, P&L, and account health.
• Streamline processes with stakeholders.
• Plan and execute budgets.
• Manage online catalogues and demand planning for e-commerce channels.
• Handle content management for new product promotions on e-commerce platforms and social media.
• Ensure effective communication with customers through regular collaboration, maintaining product listings, and ensuring stock availability with accurate forecasting.
• Plan, organized, and direct the Business Development Group to achieve targeted revenues and profitability.
• Analyze, plan, and implement resource requirements to achieve targeted revenues and volume.
• Lead site optimization projects in collaboration with IT teams to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant experience preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in e-commerce and business development roles.
• Proven track record of successfully managing e-commerce operations and achieving growth targets.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, sales, marketing strategies, and team management.
