Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and focus on expanding our ecommerce sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the ecommerce industry. The role involves identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in the digital marketplace, understanding customer needs, and presenting tailored ecommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development & Lead Generation:
• Identify and prospect new ecommerce clients through various channels (cold calling, networking, social media, and referrals).
• Develop and execute strategies to target key decision-makers in ecommerce businesses.
• Qualify leads and conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
• Sales Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Create tailored presentations and proposals to pitch ecommerce solutions, highlighting the company's value proposition.
• Manage the sales pipeline, track prospects, and report on sales activities.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
• Understand the specific needs and challenges of each client and provide customized ecommerce solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, tech support) to ensure client needs are met effectively.
• Market Analysis & Competitor Research:
• Stay up-to-date with ecommerce trends, tools, platforms, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide insights on market trends to senior leadership.
• Negotiation & Closing:
• Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and the company.
• Close deals effectively and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
• Reporting & Performance Metrics:
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Analyze data and adjust sales strategies as needed to meet KPIs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in B.tech, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in sales, business development, or ecommerce sales.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and online retail trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software, Tally and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with ecommerce tools and platforms
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
