A leading IT software product company based in Chennai with global presence / clientele in US, UK, Dubai, Qatar, UAE is planning to expand its presence by setting up a new business vertical which will focus in providing IT HR & Talent services to its clients.
Position Summary:
This position will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This position will be the "Face of the company" for this business vertical.
Primary Responsibility:
Client Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT/ ITES companies.
• Understand their specific IT staffing needs, project requirements, and company culture.
• Consult with them to identify the best talent acquisition strategies.
Relationship Building & Account Management:
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with both inhouse IT professionals and client companies.
• Provide ongoing support to placed candidates and client companies throughout the hiring process.
• Track key metrics like placements, time-to-fill, and client satisfaction.
Business Development:
• Contribute to generating new business opportunities for the agency by identifying potential client companies and establishing new client relationships.
Secondary Responsibility (this may be assigned to another position in future):
Sourcing & Talent Pool Building:
• Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to find top IT talent, including online job boards, professional networks, social media recruiting, and attending industry events.
• Build and maintain a robust database of qualified IT professionals across different skill sets and experience levels.
• Stay updated on the latest IT trends and in-demand skills.
Candidate Screening & Selection:
• Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Conduct in-depth technical interviews or skills assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications for specific positions.
• Prepare shortlists of the most qualified candidates for client companies.
Negotiation & Job Offer Placement:
• Negotiate salaries, benefits packages, and employment terms on behalf of both candidates and client companies.
• Facilitate the interview process between candidates and client companies, ensuring smooth communication.
• Extend and manage job offers to successful candidates.
Mentorship & Training:
• Contribute to the development of junior recruitment team members by providing coaching and guidance.
Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
• Stay up-to-date on IT industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging technologies to inform strategic recruitment approaches.
About the candidate:
• The ideal candidate shall have a min 15 years' experience in the area of IT/ ITES Business Development.
• Candidate with similar experience/ exposure will be an added advantage.
• Ability to think critically while making business development plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
• Should have solid understanding of business and ability to sell product and services.
• Must possess good knowledge of IT and its services.
• Should be focused and have strong communication skills.
• Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate.
• Work mode will be Hybrid.
