As a Business Development Manager focusing on marketing and data generation at Edumpus, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and increasing our market presence. Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement marketing strategies that effectively promote our offerings and generate valuable data for our sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
• Develop and execute strategies to identify and target new business opportunities in the IT sector.
•Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
•Create and manage a robust sales pipeline.
•Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations of IT solutions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and support.
•Lead Generation & Networking:
Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support sales objectives.
•Proposal Development:
Draft and present compelling proposals, RFPs, and RFQs tailored to client requirements.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to close sales effectively.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery of IT solutions.
Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, KPIs, and revenue performance.
Market Analysis & Feedback:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
Provide insights to internal teams to improve product offerings and services.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the IT industry (3-5 years preferred).
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT solutions, such as software development, cloud services, cybersecurity, or enterprise applications.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Attributes:
