Key Responsibilities:
• Identifying and Developing New Business Opportunities:
• Research and identify potential markets, business opportunities, and areas for expansion.
• Generate new leads through networking, cold calls, industry events, and digital platforms.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Establish relationships with key industry players and prospective clients.
• Sales and Lead Generation:
• Build and manage a pipeline of new business leads.
• Actively approach new clients, deliver tailored sales presentations, and negotiate contracts.
• Develop proposals and quotes for potential clients.
• Follow up on leads to convert them into successful sales.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Serve as the main point of contact for key clients and provide support throughout the sales process.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and addressing any concerns.
• Manage post-sales client communication to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Strategic Planning and Business Growth:
• Work closely with senior management to develop and execute business development strategies.
• Set sales targets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed to meet business objectives.
• Understand the company's products/services and align them with the client's needs to maximize sales.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure consistent messaging and product offerings.
• Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
• Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, emerging trends, and potential gaps in the market.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitor strategies.
• Use market intelligence to advise senior leadership on potential business direction or necessary adjustments.
• Negotiation and Closing Deals:
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Finalize contracts and close deals by coordinating with legal, finance, and operations teams.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales progress, and other key performance metrics.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development progress, targets, and achievements.
• Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
