: Business Development Intern
Shift: Night Shift
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Intern to join our IT Sales team. The candidate will work closely with our Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and contribute to the growth of our sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities within the IT sector.
• Utilize various tools and platforms to generate and qualify leads.
• Conduct outbound calls and emails to prospective clients.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings with potential clients to discuss their IT needs.
• Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
• Support the sales team in follow-up activities with clients.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market research.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Attend networking events and industry conferences as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
• Assist in preparing sales reports and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
• Strong interest in IT sales and business development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Up to ?15,000.00 per month
