POSITION OVERVIEW:
• We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support our Business Development team in driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening client relationships. This position offers hands-on experience, where you'll gain valuable insights into market research, sales strategies, and client engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Researching the Market:
? Find out what's happening in our industry, understand what competitors are doing, and see what potential customers might need.
? Identify new opportunities and trends that could help our company grow.
2. Finding and Reaching New Clients:
? Help the team generate new leads through social media, emails, calls, and by attending industry events.
? Build and maintain a list of potential clients who would benet from our products or services.
3. Engaging and Building Relationships:
? Assist with initial outreach to potential clients and partners to introduce them to our company.
? Support the team in building and managing relationships to help keep clients interested and engaged.
4. Helping Develop Sales Strategies and Processes:
? Work with the sales and business development teams to create effective strategies to win clients and improve how we work.
? Help design workows that make our sales efforts smoother and more organised, such as templates for emails and processes for following up with clients.
5. Supporting the Sales Team with Materials:
? Prepare customised presentations, proposals, and other documents to help the sales team connect with clients.
? Create content like case studies or testimonials to showcase the value of our services.
6. Updating Client Records:
? Keep our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system up-to-date with accurate details about each client.
? Use data to spot trends, check how well we're doing, and help the team make decisions based on insights.
7. Collaborating with Other Teams:
? Work with teams like marketing, product, and customer success to make sure we're all aligned in our goals.
? Share insights with these teams to help improve our products, marketing, and customer service.
8. Creating Reports and Analysing Performance:
? Assist in preparing regular reports to track our progress and key metrics, like leads generated and deals closed.
? Help evaluate which strategies are working best and suggest improvements.
9. Field Client Visits and Relationship Building:
? Conduct regular visits to prospective and existing clients at their locations to establish and maintain strong relationships. Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, demonstrate product or service benets, and address any concerns. Act as the face of the company, representing its values and ensuring a personalised approach to business development while identifying potential opportunities for growth.
10. All other Business Development related duties and activities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
2. Data entry skills.
3. Strong attention to detail.
4. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
5. Knowledge of policies and regulations.
6. Good problem-solving capabilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?12,619.17 - ?1,651,561.63 per month
