Business Development Head

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

? Leadership: Head and guide the Business Development Team to achieve

business targets and goals.

? Business Acquisition: Identify and acquire new business opportunities to

expand VGRO's presence in various locations.

? Strategic Support: Assist management with new expansion plans and strategic

initiatives.

? Client Relations: Develop and Anchor strong relationships with local companies

(SMEs, mid, and large corporates) and their key decision-makers, including

promoters and CFOs.

? Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team

to ensure high performance and effective client service.

Qualifications

? Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in relationship / business development and

team handling, with experience in providing Working Capital, Term Loans, Trade

Finance, Credit Rating and Private Equity Advisory services to SMEs/Mid & Large

Corporates.

? Industry Background: Experience in working with Public / Private sector banks,

Credit Rating Agencies, NBFCs, Corporate Financial Consultants

? Skills:

o Strong communication skills in English, Tamil, Other South Indian

Languages and Hindi.

o Comprehensive knowledge of SME/Mid/Large Corporate banking with

banks and NBFC products, including working capital, term loans, private

equity, credit rating, and structured finance. NBFC lending / Real estate

lending / Infrastructure lending / Any Structured Finance lending / Trade

Finance

? Local Market Insight: In-depth understanding of local companies (SMEs, mid,

and large corporates) with established contacts and access to promoters and

CFOs.
