Summary: The Forecasting Analyst will play a critical role in BIA Hyderabad. They will be responsible for developing accurate and robust forecasts and simulations across various areas, including sales, sites, supply, demand, and other relevant domains. The Forecasting Analyst will be expected to utilize advanced forecasting techniques, statistical models, and simulation methodologies to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and optimize business performance across BMS.\xe2\x80\x8b

Roles and Responsibilities-

Partner with senior analysts to maintain comprehensive forecasting models and methodologies to project sales, site performance, supply, demand and other relevant factors\xe2\x80\x8b

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze relevant data, market trends and historical performance\xe2\x80\x8b

Apply advanced statistical analysis techniques and time series/predictive modelling to identify trends/drivers influencing forecasts.\xe2\x80\x8b

Conduct scenario analyses and simulation studies to evaluate the potential impact of various factors, such as market dynamics, pricing strategies, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes.\xe2\x80\x8b

Prepare and present forecast reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, insights and recommendations to team members to align forecasts with business goals and strategies.\xe2\x80\x8b

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging methodologies and best practice forecasting and simulation \xe2\x80\x8b

Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure, enhance data collection, and leverage advanced analytics tools for forecasting and simulation purposes

Skills & Competencies-

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of statistical forecasting techniques, time series analysis and predictive modeling\xe2\x80\x8b

Familiarity with forecasting software and advanced forecasting methodologies \xe2\x80\x8b

Solid ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear manner\xe2\x80\x8b

Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team\xe2\x80\x8b

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability of forecasts\xe2\x80\x8b

Strong business acumen and the ability to translate forecast findings into actionable insights and recommendations

Experience-

We welcome individuals with a demonstrated track record in R&D life sciences, biosciences, pharma, biotech or related disciplines. \xe2\x80\x8b

Proven experience (typically 1 to 3 years) in a forecasting or demand planning role, preferably within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry.\xe2\x80\x8b

Experience working with data visualization tools & MS Suite\xe2\x80\x8b

Familiarity with the biopharma industry, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and supply chain considerations\xe2\x80\x8b

Certification or training in forecasting, demand planning, or related disciplines is a plus.
