Business Development Executive (RRPF India)Location: India, Ahmedabad, GIFT CityThis is an exciting and varied role to create new business development opportunities for one of largest engine leasing companies in the world looking to grow its business in Asia.RRPF is a premier jet engine leasing company with a large portfolio of jet engines comprising of Rolls-Royce and engines manufactured by other leading engine manufactures. Our vision is to be the best partner in our customers growth. We provide medium and long - term spare engine leasing and bespoke financial solutions to airlines, aircraft lessors and OEMs and support over 75 customers worldwide with a portfolio of over 500 jet engines.This role sits within the Sales and Marketing team; a fast-paced team responsible for spare engine leasing, sale and lease backs and sales revenue.To be successful in this role you will need to have experience and a passion for the aviation industry, exposure to engine or aircraft sales finance or leasing, an eye for detail, be capable of working with a diverse mix of external customers and internal partners.Key AccountabilitiesAccountable for business development opportunity market research, data analysis and idea generationAccountable for leading initial customer, investor or partner engagement and related follow-up sales activity as needed.Accountable for preparing business case board papers and responsible for securing approvals as needed for potential projects. Tracking and reporting progress of allocated projects, producing reports for internal stakeholders.Deputise for line manager and represent wider RRPF organisation in external meetings as needed.Support portfolio management activity as needed, including engine forecast modelling, preparing lease contract summaries, securing meetings.Support marketing communications activity as needed, including coordinating between internal stakeholders and external digital content production or website management companies.Key Skills, Qualifications, ExperienceExperience in strategy consulting, investment bank or business development in aviation asset leasing or financial services or comparable sectorDegree in Business, Economics, Law or similar relevant qualificationKnowledge or experience related to aviation asset leasing would be valued but not criticalCurious and creative with good business acumen and commercial instincts. Great interpersonal, diplomacy, communication, influencing and negotiations skillsAble to produce thoughtful brand conscious presentations and comfortable meeting/presenting to C suite senior management as needed.Good with dealing with ambiguity, solve complex problems and able drive projects forward while maintaining customer focusComputer literacy, confidence to use both presentation related tools (Word, PowerPoint, image manipulation) as well as data analysis tools (Excel, Qlik, Salesforce).
