We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in online bidding and freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, actively bidding on relevant projects, and building strong relationships with clients. Your role will be pivotal in driving the company's growth and ensuring the successful acquisition of new projects.
Key Responsibilities :
• Actively bid on projects across freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, and others to secure new business.
• Engage with potential clients to understand their requirements and propose suitable solutions that meet their needs.
• Create persuasive, well-researched, and personalized proposals that highlight the company's capabilities and align with client objectives.
• Proactively search for new business leads and build a solid pipeline of potential clients and projects.
• Effectively negotiate project terms, timelines, and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in the freelancing industry, monitor competitor activity, and explore new opportunities within freelancing platforms.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and high satisfaction levels.
• Track and report on bidding performance, project status, and key metrics to provide valuable insights to the team.
• Collaborate with internal teams (designers, developers, etc.) to ensure project requirements are understood and effectively delivered.
Skills and Qualifications :
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in online bidding and business development, specifically on freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, etc.
• Solid understanding of how freelancing platforms operate, including the bidding process, client communication, and project management features.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling proposals and professional client interactions.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable project terms, pricing, and timelines.
• Knowledge of sales strategies and digital marketing tactics to increase bid success rates and expand the client base.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
• Strong drive to meet targets, a goal-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently.
