Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
• Identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, cold-calling, and other lead generation methods.
• Qualify and develop leads to create a robust sales pipeline.
• Identify key decision-makers and potential clients in target markets.
2. Sales and Relationship Building:
• Engage with prospects via phone, email, or in-person meetings to understand their needs and introduce the company's offerings.
• Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients to drive sales opportunities.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects, guiding them through the sales process.
3. Product Knowledge and Presentation:
• Develop a strong understanding of the company's products or services to effectively present solutions to clients.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of the company's offerings.
• Tailor presentations and proposals to meet the specific needs of prospective clients.
4. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
• Conduct research to understand the market needs and align business development strategies accordingly.
• Provide feedback to the business development team about market demands, customer preferences, and competitor positioning.
5. Proposal and Contract Development:
• Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts for potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that proposals are aligned with client requirements and company offerings.
• Help with contract negotiations and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
6. Reporting and Performance Tracking:
• Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and lead conversion rates.
• Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and sales activities in CRM software.
• Provide regular updates on lead generation, sales activities, and market feedback to the Business Development Manager.
7. Customer Service and Support:
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely responses to inquiries and proactive issue resolution.
• Work with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and effective delivery of services or products.
• Support the post-sale process by assisting clients with any follow-up requirements or queries.
