Job Summary
The IT Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving the growth of the company's IT services and solutions. This role involves proactive engagement through calling, emailing, and traveling to meet clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mind-set.
Key Responsibilities Lead Generation:
- Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and industry events. - Initiate contact with prospects via cold calls, emails, and social media. - Qualify leads to determine their potential and readiness for engagement.
Client Engagement: - Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. - Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to potential clients. - Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
Sales and Negotiation: - Develop and deliver sales proposals and presentations. - Negotiate terms and close sales agreements. - Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Travel: - Travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and represent the company at conferences and trade shows. - Coordinate travel plans and manage schedules efficiently. Collaboration : - Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies. - Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of solutions. - Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market trends.
Reporting : - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. - Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the IT industry.- Strong understanding of IT services and solutions.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Willingness to travel frequently.- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
