Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales growth through proactive business development activities, with a strong emphasis on cold calling and achieving specified targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and identify potential delegates through various channels including online databases, social media platforms, industry associations, and networking events.
• Conduct outbound cold calls to potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Identify and qualify leads through effective prospecting and networking strategies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
• Keep accurate records of sales activities, delegate interactions, and sales performance metrics.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospects, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products or services.
• Negotiate and close deals in a timely and professional manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and achievements to management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in a target-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering results.
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a proactive and tenacious approach to sales.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a high degree of accountability and professionalism.
