Position Summary: As a Business Development Executive in an advertising agency, your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will play a crucial role in expanding the agency\'s client base, building strong relationships with potential clients, and maximizing revenue generation. This position requires a deep understanding of the advertising industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies. Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation techniques.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.- Proactively reach out to prospects, present agency services, and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand clients\' goals, objectives, and challenges to provide strategic advertising solutions.- Regularly communicate with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.- Collaborate with internal teams, such as account management and creative departments, to deliver on client expectations.
  • Negotiation and Contracts: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure new business and maximize profitability.
- Ensure that all contractual agreements align with agency policies and legal requirements.- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize and execute contracts.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities.
- Analyze market intelligence to identify potential areas of growth and recommend strategies to capitalize on opportunities.- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and positioning to develop a competitive advantage.
  • Reporting and Forecasting:Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.- Prepare regular sales forecasts, progress reports, and presentations for management review.Identify areas for improvement and propose strategies to achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1 year) in business development, sales, or account management within the advertising industry.
- Strong understanding of advertising principles, marketing strategies, and industry dynamics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
