Job Function As a Business Development Executive in the Data Science & IT , your primary role will be to generate leads and convert them into successful projects. This involves close coordination with domain experts in the production department. Your responsibilities include understanding the Data Science & IT requirements provided by leads, translating them into a clear format, and effectively communicating them to the respective domain experts to facilitate the creation of proposals. Additionally, you will work closely with the Accounts and Operations teams to plan budgets and ensure seamless project execution. Your role extends to prospecting potential clients, initiating negotiations, and establishing strong working relationships through various communication channels. Furthermore, in this role, customer care is of utmost importance. Beyond the closure of sales, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong relationship with customers. This involves proactive follow-ups to address any project-related challenges or concerns they may encounter, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and success. The role is also expected carry out, meticulous documentation of every aspect of the sales and development process, including both successful wins and losses, will be a vital component of your responsibilities. Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Saturday, 10:00a.m. to 7:00pm. Hours may vary on occasion, depending on workload. Second and Fourth Saturday Holiday. Pay Fixed Pay Starts at Rs.8,000 per month, along with additional variable pay and performance bonuses based on achievements and targets met. Work Location Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Req. Qualification: A master\xe2\x80\x99s or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Data Science & IT or related field. Req. Experience: (1-2) Years of relevant Experience as Business Development in Data Science & IT . Req. Knowledge and Skills:

Business Development Strategy: Experience in designing and implementing effective business development strategies to achieve growth and objectives. Strong Emotional Intelligence: Possessing emotional intelligence to understand and navigate the emotions of clients and colleagues for effective relationship building. Excellent Negotiation Skills: Competency in negotiation techniques to secure favorable deals and partnerships. Domain Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the specific industry\'s terminology and language, demonstrating expertise in the Research and Education industry. Pressure Handling: Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work. Prioritization and Triage: Skills in prioritizing tasks and obligations to manage workload efficiently and ensure critical tasks are addressed promptly. Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty. Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task. Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate potential business growth opportunities, including new markets, trends, customers, industries, or partnerships or any new ways to reach existing markets. Generate leads and cold call prospective customers. Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these. Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business. Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company\'s goals and objectives. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key partners, existing customers, and industry stakeholders to foster business growth. Client Base Expansion: Work towards increasing the client base by identifying and targeting potential customers. Market Positioning: Enhance the company\'s market position by researching, analysing, and recommending adjustments to product offerings or services based on market trends. Business Proposal Writing: Prepare and write compelling business proposals to attract potential clients and partners. Product/Service Development: Collaborate with internal teams to align product or service development with market needs and trends, ensuring offerings remain competitive. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships that benefit the organization and contribute to business growth. Strengths and Needs Identification: Identify and map the organization\'s strengths and customer needs to tailor business development strategies accordingly. Goal Development and Team Support: Set goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met. Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization and understand the need for change and what is required of them. Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate. Seek ways of improving the way the business operates. Help to plan sales campaigns. Provide training and support to team members in their skill development. Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, both locally and internationally, to identify new business opportunities and stay competitive. Contract Drafting and Review: Draft and review contracts to ensure they align with the organization\'s interests and comply with legal requirements. Reporting: Provide regular sales forecast reports and analysis along with updates to senior management on business development progress, challenges, achievements, and areas requiring improvement. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges in business development efforts and develop mitigation plans to minimize negative impacts. Budget Management: Manage budgets related to business development activities to ensure cost-effective strategies and resource allocation. Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department. Liaise with the finance team, warehousing, and logistics departments as appropriate. Seek ways of improving the way the business operates. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
