Job Description

Greensutra is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities that support our sustainability consulting services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients in need of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), carbon footprinting, and CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) compliance services.
• Develop and implement targeted lead generation strategies to reach new clients.
• Qualify leads and convert them into paying clients through effective communication and presentations.
• Assist in the development of proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Conduct competitive research and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks and data analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
